440 E Washington St, Shreveport, LA 71104-3548The Libertarian Party of Louisiana will hold its 4th Quarter - 2026 State Central Committee meeting on Saturday, October 24th in Shreveport, LA~ In an effort to help support our awesome candidates this campaign season, we're hoping to change up our normal routine; instead of spending majority of the time we would've sitting around discussing dismal politics, we'll be taking to the streets instead! Well, one specifically, and it's actually the ditches, but neverthless, the Libertarian Party of LA will be assisting it's North Star of affiliates, the Caddo Parish Executive Committee as they knock out their monthly clean up of Youree Drive / Highway 1~ Following our landscaping duties, everyone is welcome to come join the actual "business" portion of the meeting @Trejos Mexican Restaurant (5750 North Market St, Ste 100 Shreveport, LA 71107) with a tentative meetup time of 12:30 P.M. as we plan to go over the upcoming amendments, candidate updates and voting timelines~ To go ahead and finish strong, we'll meander down a few blocks and sign wave for our Shreveport Native Son Long Returned - Mr. Tony Williams for Justice of the Peace in Ward 3 of Caddo Parish! We would love to have at least a solid hour or two sign waving & encouraging voters to early vote if we could~ Please don't think you have to attend all the events or work yourself to the bone by any means. If you've been curious what a libertarian is actually like, this is a great time to come hang out and socialize with the individuals responsible in making sure you always have a THIRD option on the ballot, regardless of what the state or duopoly tries to hurdle our way~ Timeline: 09:30 A.M. - Getting set up - will have coffee, donuts, fruit~ 10:30 A.M. - Start walking - will have bags, grabbers and gloves~ 12:00 P.M. - Group photos with trash - everyone has a phone~ 12:30 P.M. - Lunch - everyone is on their own (whoever collects the most trash will likely get rewarded with a shot or two tho!)~ 01:00 P.M. - Business Starts - Address anything needed~ 02:00 P.M. - Sign waving - we will provide signs and materials~ 04:00 P.M. - Lagniappe - Hang around for some good stories~ Please, if you have any questions, comments or concerns about the meeting or what we do in general, do not hesitate to reach out to this page or email: vice-chairman@lplouisiana.org for more information!
